The Project: Personal Brand Logo (self)
The Challenge:
- Design a personal logotype that represents myself as a creator and media designer.
The Solution:
- Combination of Helvetica and Futura typefaces creates a sleek, modern impression.
- Color scheme based around web safe shades of blue for use in online identity branding, as well as print.
- Minimalist design elements arranged to suggest the image of a camera lens.

The Challenge:
- Design front, back, and spine cover for a book.
The Solution:
- Utilized separation type/image relationship to pair effectively with minimalist art design.
- Complimentary orange/blue color scheme highlights opposing nature of the narrative without clashing in an aggressive, visually unpleasant fashion.
The Project: “Message of the Sphinx” (class project)
The Challenge:
- Design an informative advertisement flyer for a public event.
The Solution:
- Utilized fusion type/image relationship to evoke idea of ancient, carved typography.
- Primary color palette highlights natural, earthy tones based on rock and sand textures.
The Project: “Sizzle & Serve” (class project)
The Challenge:
- Design and implement a two page cookbook spread.
The Solution:
- Features clear text hierarchy and grid based alignment to present recipe information.
- Close up photography of freshly made food chosen to maximize appeal.
The Project: “Reaper Man” (class project)
The Challenge:
- Design a teaser poster for film based on a pre-existing property.
The Solution:
- Utilized inversion type/image relationship with hand crafted clay letters.
- Photographed on location to reflect property’s theme of the dichotomy between life and death.
