Square Enix, creators of the perennial JRPG juggernaut Final Fantasy franchise, have officially revealed new details about the newest entry in the cult classic Star Ocean series. Released exclusively for Sony’s Playstation 4 console, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will arrive on North American shores June 28th. Additionally, fans will be able to acquire the game in two unique ways, detailed below.
DAY ONE EDITION ($59.99)
Aside from the core game, the Day One edition includes:
- In-game item dlc
- Customizable background battle music from previous Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile games
COLLECTOR’S EDITION ($109.99)
Available solely from the Square Enix online store, the Collector’s Edition includes the same content as the Day One version in addition to several other bonuses:
- Collector’s Edition Steelbook case
- “The Sounds of Star Ocean” sampler CD featuring 16 tracks from composer Motoi Sakuraba
- “The Art of Star Ocean” 80 page art book featuring art from the franchise
- 8 exclusive art cards depicting illustrations by character designer “Aikman”
- “Pangalactic Federation ID Card”
